This study aims to analyze the urgency of regulating the use of halal product labels in Indonesia, where halal product labeling is a very important issue, especially in this modern era, namely the era of the industrial revolution 5.0. In addition, this article also aims to identify and analyze whether Law no. 33 of 2014 concerning the Guarantee of Halal Products (UU JPH) there are very serious questions about whether or not in providing constitutional guarantees for the majority of Muslims and especially for minorities in Indonesia. answers and new legal provisions to protect consumers from consuming products that are not halal. This research is based on normative legal research. Normative legal research is research conducted by examining library materials and secondary materials. The approach used in this study uses a normative approach by researching and analyzing the laws and regulations related to halal product guarantees in the 5.0 revolution era and their probes. The normative juridical method takes secondary data through literature study. The results and discussion in the research are first, Labeling of halal products is very important to provide guarantees for consumers to avoid haram properties, especially for Muslims, even for non-Muslims with hygienic goods guaranteed. Guarantees of protection for halal products are contained in the JPH Law, especially in the era of the industrial revolution 5.0 so that this regulation can help provide extra guarantees to consumers regarding the 2 protection of the purchase of halal products. Halal labeling and certification. This is because after the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia firmly took over the policy and decision that the MUI was no longer entitled to issue labeling and certification of halal products.

The glass house experiment involving compost tea and harvest age was conducted to investigate the effect of giving compost tea (cricket and rabbit feces) and harvesting age on productivity, nutrient content, and in vitro digestibility value of Cichorium intybus. Compost tea (CT) is an aqueous extract from compost that can correct nutrient deficiencies during crop production and protect cultivation. The research treatment consisted of two factors, namely: the age of harvest and the dose of compost tea. The administration of compost tea consisted of three kinds of doses as follows: no compost tea (P0), 200 mL of compost tea (P1), and 400 mL of compost tea (P2). The experimental plants were harvested at different age, consisting of 25, 35 and 45 days after planting (DAP). The experimental design was Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 9 replications. The data were statictically analyzed using analisys of variance, and differences among value of each treatment were tested with the Duncan Multiple Range Test. The results indicated that compost tea dose and harvesting period treatment affected (P<0.05) leaf length, fresh leaf weight, crude protein content, dry matter digestibility (DMD), and organic matter digestibility (OMD). Meanwhile, it showed not significant effect (P>0.05) on the leaf width and root length. The results suggest that the fertilization treatment of 200 mL of compost tea and 25 DAP could increase productivity (leaf length and fresh leaf weight) of chicory, nutrient content (crude protein) of chicory, and in vitro digestibility (DMD and OMD).

Background: Blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus can be controlled by consuming foods that have a high fiber content. Sword bean is a food ingredient that has a high fiber content. Sword bean with product processing techniques into cookies has the potential to change the glycemic index of the product.Objective: This study aims to determine the potential of sword bean cookies as an alternative snack for diabetics in terms of the glycemic index of cookies.Methods: Observational laboratory study by analyzing the glycemic index of sword bean compared to pure glucose and control cookies. The research was carried out from March to September 2022. A total of 10 subjects were involved in measuring the glycemic index. The glycemic index was analyzed through the ratio of the area under the curve (area under curve) of food glucose responses to fasting blood glucose measurements; 30; 60; 90; and 120 minutes after consumption of the test food (sword bean cookies and control cookies)Results: Area under curve (AUC) for pure glucose, control cookies, and sword bean cookies respectively were 3751.5; 1381.5; and 652.5. The glycemic index of glucose was 100, while the glycemic index of control cookies and sword bean cookies were 36.82 and 17.39. Control cookies and sword bean cookies belong to the category with a low glycemic index. The results of the analysis showed the difference in AUC between glucose and control cookies (p=0.000), between glucose and sword bean cookies (p=0.001). , between control cookies and sword bean cookies (p=0.001).Conclusion: Sword bean cookies have a lower glycemic index than glucose and control cookiesKeywords : Cookies, sword bean, glycemic index, diabetes mellitus ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Kadar gula darah pasien diabetes mellitus dapat dikontrol dengan mengkonsumsi makanan yang mempunyai kadar serat tinggi. Kacang koro pedang dengan teknik pengolahan produk menjadi cookies mempunyai potensi mengubah indeks glikemik produk. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi cookies kacang koro pedang sebagai alternatif snack untuk penderita diabetes dilihat dari indeks glikemik cookies.Metode: Penelitian observational laboratory study dengan menganalisis indeks glikemik cookies cookies kacang koro pedang dibandingkan dengan glukosa murni dan cookies kontrol. Penelitian dilaksanakan Maret sampai September2022. Sebanyak 10 subjek terlibat dalam pengukuran indeks glikemik. Indeks glikemik dianalisis melalui rasio luas di bawah kurva (area under curve) respon glukosa makanan dengan pengukuran glukosa darah saat puasa; 30; 60; 90; dan 120 menit setelah konsumsi makanan uji (cookies growol dan cookies kontrol)..Hasil: Area under curve (AUC) untuk glukosa murni, cookies kontrol, dan cookies growol secara berurutan adalah 3751,5; 1381,5; dan 652,5. Indeks glikemik glukosa adalah 100, sedangkan indeks glikemik cookies kontrol dan cookies kacang koro pedang adalah 36,82 dan 17,39. Cookies kontrol dan cookies kacang koro pedang termasuk kategori dengan indeks glikemik rendah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perbedaan AUC antara glukosa dengan cookies kontrol (p=0,000), antara glukosa dengan cookies kacang koro pedang (p=0,001). , antara cookies kontrol dengan cookies kacang koro pedang (p=0,001).Simpulan: Cookies kacang koro pedang mempunyai indeks glikemik lebih rendah dibandingkan glukosa dan cookies kontrolKata Kunci : cookies, kacang koro pedang, indeks glikemik, diabetes mellitus
