The application of the think pair share model is carried out to increase the enthusiasm for learning science with the help of Mind Mapping in grade IV SD students. This study aims to determine the effect of think pair share with the mind mapping media for science knowledge competency of the fourth grade students at elementary school. This type of quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental) used the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in school lessons is 153 students, all grade IV SD. Sampling using random sampling technique, randomizing the class. The selected sample was SD with 31 students as the experimental class and SD with 30 students as the control class. Science knowledge competency data were collected using objective tests. Data analysis using t-test. The results of the t-test analysis obtained tcount = 7.104> ttable = 2,000, at a significance level of 5% with dk = 59.It means that there is a significant difference in the competence of science knowledge between students who are taught using think pair share models assisted by mind mapping media and students being taught using conventional class IV SD learning. The average score of knowledge competency in the science experimental group x ̄ = 83.30> x ̄ = 67.96 the mean scoree of the control group. Thus it can be ignored that there is an influence of the think pair share model assisted by mind mapping media on the competence of science knowledge in grade IV SD.

This study aimed to improve student learning achievement through the application of think pair share-based discovery learning models. This type of research was classroom action research with the Kemmis & McTaggart research design. The location of this research was SMAN 1 Kuta Utara in class XII MIPA 4 with a total of 38 students as research subjects. The data analysis technique was carried out in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the data analysis showed that the application of the think pair share-based discovery learning model could improve student learning achievement with completeness in cycle I of 68.4% and increased in cycle II with completeness of 84.2%. Based on the results of data analysis, it could be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model based on think pair share could improve student learning outcomes.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi virus kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gowa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) sebagai variabel bebas dan hasil belajar siswa sebagai variabel terikat, dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gowa yang terdiri atas 7 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 252 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X MIA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 36 orang dan kelas X MIA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 36 orang yang terpilih melalui Simple Random Sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif memperlihatkan bahwa pada kelas yang diajar denganmenggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 80, sedangkan kelas yang diajar dengan media biasa diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 73. Ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 86,1% sedangkan ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas kontrol adalah 47,2%. Hasil pengujian statistik inferensial dengan Independent Samples T-Test diperoleh nilai signifikansi p = 0,001 < α = 0,05. Hal ini berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan HI diterima, dengan demikian media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi virus Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gowa.
