Abstract

The principle of legality is a principle that has been set in Indonesia's criminal law system. It is occured and explained in Criminal Code also become the basis of Indonesia's criminal law. It state that an act can not convicted if that act is unregulated in the law regulation. With the times, priciple of legality that occured in the Criminal Code Bill expand the meaning of it compared to the Criminal code. The expansion of the meaning of principle of legality state that people can be convicted even if the act is unregulated in the law regulation. So that, this thing can be a question about how this new meaning of principle of legality effect Indonesia's legal system.
