Penerapan Model PBL Dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Cerita Materi Sifat Operasi Hitung Untuk Siswa Sd

Abstract

Aplication of PBL Model in Completing Problem Material Stories of Calculation Operastion for SD Students. This study aims to identify the presence or absence of differences in ability to solve story problems for elementary students after using the PBL model on the material nature of arithmetic operations. This study uses a quantitative approach to the experimental method with the Pre-Experimental Design research design in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The instrument used in this study is the interview guidelines, observation guidelines and test guidelines for the ability to solve story problems then analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (t-test). Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the average posttest score is higher than the average pretest value (75.619> 33.333). T-test analysis results obtained t-test = 13.467 t-table = 2.021 at a significance level of 5%, so that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there are significant differences in the ability to solve mathematical story problems after using PBL models. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi ada atau tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita untuk siswa SD setelah menggunakan model PBL pada materi sifat operasi hitung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pre-Eksperimental Design dalam bentuk One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi dan pedoman tes kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui bahwa rata-rata nilai hasil posttest lebih tinggi dari pada rata-rata nilai pretest (75,619>33,333). Hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh t-hitung= 13,467 t-tabel= 2,021 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, sehingga Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL.
