Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a widespread adoption of mask-wearing. An increasing number of new onset or flared of pre-existing inflammatory facial dermatoses is observed with prolonged use of facial masks. Common dermatoses triggered by facial mask wearing include contact dermatitis, maskne, a subtype of mechanica acne, and mask-induced rosace. In this report, we present two cases of pemphigus vulgaris, presenting first with a well-defined triangular crusty nose induced by mask-wearing during the COVID pandemic.
