In this era of Industry 4.0, technology is advancing rapidly, and various applications are emerging to help traders optimize their product procurement. One such application is the forecasting or prediction system. Serba Serbi Online Shop Tanjungpinang is a shop that requires this system to manage its inventory successfully. As the shop offers a wide variety of goods, managing inventory has become challenging. The capital spent on inventory has increased, and unsold goods are piling up in the warehouse. To overcome this issue, the shop needs to calculate the amount of inventory required to reduce the stock build-up in the warehouse. The prediction method used for this purpose is the least square method. This method uses periodic or time-series data, which requires past sales data to predict future sales. Historical sales data is necessary to develop an inventory prediction system. The sales data for a single item from July 2022 to May 2023 was analyzed using the Least Square method. Based on this analysis, the predicted sales for June is 144.64, rounded to 145. The accuracy of the prediction results were tested, and the best accuracy was obtained from the prediction using 3 months of data, with an error rate of 5.47%. The prediction with the highest error rate was obtained from using 9 months of data, with an error rate of 10.65%. On average, the prediction accuracy is 0.02154%, which is considered very good.

CV Standard Entertainment Music can provide a large inventory to prevent stockouts or inventory shortages. However, maintaining a large inventory can lead to increased ordering costs and storage expenses and vice versa, which may prompt them to switch to other companies. This can hinder business growth. This research aims to determine the optimal inventory management calculations for Speaker BMB S10, Amplifier BMB SM250, and Microphone BMB SM180 using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) analysis, order frequency, Safety Stock (SS), Reorder Point (ROP), and Total Inventory Cost (TIC). The results of this study show that the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method can provide optimal inventory results, allowing the company to efficiently utilize the order quantity for each order, avoid stock shortages or excesses with safety stock and reorder points, and save inventory costs for the three sample products of CV Standard Entertainment Music in the 2022 period.

Persaingan bisnis furnitur yang semakin ketat seiring munculnya merek dan produsen membuat ide bisnis furnitur custom menjadi opsi baru untuk pemilik usaha dan pelanggan dengan preferensi khusus. Fortuin Home Decor menjadi salah satu perusahaan yang menawarkan produk custom berkualitas. Peneliti berinisiatif untuk melakukan penelitian yang berkaitan dengan peramalan permintaan dan penentuan safety stock. Peramalan dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode multiplicative decomposition dan fuzzy time series. Peramalan pada metode fuzzy time series menerapkan dua logika yaitu logika Cheng dan Ruey Chyn Tsaur yang akan diikuti oleh evaluasi metode peramalan untuk mengetahui besar error yang dihasilkan metode peramalan. Hasil peramalan dari masing-masing logika dihitung besar error-nya dimana MAPE multiplicative decomposition sebesar 17%, logika Cheng sebesar 15% dan Ruey Chyn Tsaur sebesar 14% yang kemudian metode dengan error terkecil dipilih sebagai metode yang akan digunakan untuk menghitung safety stock. Dilakukan breakdown atau merincikan peramalan unit yang dikalikan dengan kebutuhan material per unit. Safety stock dihitung dengan syarat semua permintaan diterima sehingga service level bernilai 100% dengan lead time 2 hari yang dikonversi menjadi 0.067 bulan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan mencari reorder point masing-masing material dengan syarat sebelumnya.
