Abstract: Dalam Kurikulum 2006, di Sekolah Dasar, pembelajaran sastra dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengapresiasi karya sastra. Kegiatan mengapresiasi sastra berkaitan dengan latihan mempertajam perasaan, penalaran, daya khayal, serta kepekaan terhadap masyarakat, budaya dan lingkungan hidup.
