Background: Policies regarding procedures for using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for medical record officers were needed during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze the quality assurance of services in the medical record unit RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. Type of mixed methods research. Methods: Type of mixed methods research. This research was conducted from July 1 to August 15, 2020. The data were obtained through in-depth interviews, and the processing and analysis of research data were carried out using content analysis and quantitative methods. Results: RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarangalready have an SOP for the procedure for using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for medical record officers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Officers comply with the SOP for using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during the pandemic. Conclusions: There has been an evaluation of hospital policy monitoring the use of PPE for medical record officers in the Covid-19 pandemic era. Salah satu sektor industri yang terus mengalami peningkatan adalah industri makanan dan minuman. Tantangan besar yang dihadapi industri makanan dan minuman adalah masa simpan produk yang relatif pendek akibat degradasi oleh mikroorganisme. Cahaya UVC dapat digunakan untuk mensterilkan bahan pangan dari mikroorganisme sebagai upaya memperpanjang masa simpan produk pangan. Cahaya UVC sejak lama digunakan untuk sterilisasi air minum dan berbagai produk pangan, namun di Indonesia pemanfaatanya untuk sterilisasi makanan masih jarang dilakukan. Pada penelitian ini dirancang dan dibuat sebuat alat portable sterilizer untuk membunuh mikroorganisme pada produk pangan sehingga masa simpannya menjadi lebih panjang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tahapan : yaitu perancangan sistem, pembuatan alat, pengujian subsistem dan pengujian sistem secara keseluruhan. Alat sterilizer portabel yang dibuat dilengkapi dengan pengaturan intensitas cahaya, waktu penyinaran, sensor ultrasonik dan sensor massa yang ditampilkann pada LCD touchscreen. Pengaturan intensitas cahaya dan waktu penyinaran sangat diperlukan untuk menentukan proses sterilisasi yang optimal. Pengujian alat menunjukkan hasil pengukuran dengan akurasi yang baik.

The extraordinary case of Covid-19 has made health workers the front line in handling it. To prevent the risk of contracting, health workers must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as protection. PPE that must be worn for at least 5 hours a day and is waterproof makes users experience much sweating. If not prevented, health workers can be exposed to dehydration and even death. Based on the explanation above, PPE has been designed that can cool IoT-based health workers. Also, all activities can be monitored remotely via the WEB, accessible via a smartphone or computer. In addition to WEB, data can be displayed via the LCD. The DHT22 sensor and the airflow sensor will detect the hazmat's temperature, humidity, and airflow. Furthermore, the tool is also equipped with UVC rays that can clean the air from microorganisms. Activity data will be stored in cloud storage, which is helpful as an evaluation material and reference for health workers' health progress. From the tests' results, the tool will function when the temperature and humidity follow the setpoint.
