Pemanfaatan Metode Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution dalam Menentukan Prestasi Akademik Siswa di SMK 17 Agustus 1945 Cluring Banyuwangi

Abstract

Education has a very important role in improving the quality of students and the progress of a nation. Determination of assessment on SMK 17 Agustus 1945 Cluring has an important role in the academic assessment of each student. This study helps teachers to determine student academic achievement through assessment using the Technique for Others method of Referencing by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Topsis is a form of decision support method based on the concept that the best alternative not only has the shortest distance from a positive ideal solution but also has the longest distance from a negative ideal solution which in this case will provide recommendations for determining student academic achievement as expected. It is hope that, the system built using the TOPSIS method was able to produce student academic achievement data at the SMK 17 Agustus 1945 Cluring using criteria used for attendance, mid, broad, and practical competence. With the final calculation results, the highest and lowest student achievement scores are produced effectively and efficiently.
