This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills and student learning activities. After they applied the Think Talk Write learning models assisted by rotating wheel media on IV- grade students of SDN Talun 01 with 28 research subjects. This type of research was classroom action research. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisted of 4 stages, namely, planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The independent variable in this study was the Think Talk Write learning model assisted by the rotating wheel media, and the dependent variable was the skill to think critically. The instruments in this study were tests, interviews, observation, and documentation instruments. Data analysis techniques used in this study were quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The results of this class action research can be seen from the achievement of the following indicators, namely (1) critical thinking skills, classical completeness of pre-cycle students by 62% (less) and increased on the first cycle by 72% (less), and increased in cycle II by 85% (good). (2) Student learning activities in the first cycle, attitude field, were 73% (less) and increased in the second cycle by 86% (good). Then, student learning activities in the cycle I, skills field were 74% (less) and increased in cycle II by 87% (good). Furthermore, it can be concluded that the application of the Think Talk Write learning model assisted with the 7th theme rotating wheel media about the diverse beauty in my country on IV- grade students of SDN.

English which is an international language has become an important requirement in the world of education. Standardization of English proficiency is measured by a TOEFL score in stages. Especially for students who are looking for scholarships at home and abroad, making the TOEFL score is a major requirement. International scholarships require a minimum TOEFL score of 550. This study is concerned with Mind Mapping strategies or techniques which can improve TOEFL scores. The implementation of this method is carried out for active students of Ganesha Polytechnic as a research sample through two stages, namely Pre-Test, and Final-Test. The number of samples used in this study is as many as 300 students consisting of semester 1, semester 3 and semester. Based on the results of trials with the Mind Mapping method with a duration of 3 months there is an increase in the TOEFL score between Pre-Test and Final Test.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan upaya meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks narasi pada siswakelas XI Lintas Minat Bahasa Inggris SMAN 1 Mataram tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang menerapkan pola siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan melihat peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta hasil belajar siswa persiklus. dan Pembahasan dilakukan secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan silent video dengan pendekatan cooperative learning terbukti secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam menulis teks naratif. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan perolehan nilai rata-rata peserta yaitu 69,9 pada siklus I menjadi 77,3 pada siklus II dan ketuntasan klasikal meningkat dari dari 78% pada siklus I menjadi 94% pada siklus II. Kekatifan siswa juga meningkat dari 72% pada siklus I menjadi 86% pada siklus II
