“…My work with science teacher Michael Lowry turned into team teaching a new senior science seminar called Oceans: Past and Present in a landlocked state of Tennessee and many WAC projects with other science classes through the writing center (Lowry & Childers, 2016). We expanded to offer independent study courses across disciplines like the ones Brandall took (Baker et al, 2007;Childers & Straka, 2004;Grant et al, 1997) and created a writing fellows program.
