“Pedro Pedreiro”, “Bye Bye Brasil”, “Pelas Tabelas”

Abstract: A questão do tempo histórico no cancioneiro de Chico Buarque de Hollanda não é algo novo. Desde as suas primeiras composições essa problemática foi abordada, ainda que sob diferentes pontos de vista. Nesse artigo, buscarei somar o assunto a duas diretrizes que, de certo modo, estão relacionadas: o processo de modernização à brasileira e o fim da perspectiva de entoar o país do futuro.
