Pedicel abscission and rachis morphology of soybean as influenced by benzylaminopurine and the presence of pods

Abstract: The cytokinin 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) increases pod set of soybean Glycine max (L .) Merr . This study was performed to determine the effect of site and method of BAP application on pedicel abscission and the accompanying changes in rachis anatomy .
