Abstract:The diagnosis and treatment of Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB) in pediatric age differs in relation to the adult. Central sleep apnea syndrome (CSAS) is less frequent in childhood, and one of the causes of it is the alterations of the brainstem like the malformation of Chiari type I.
