Pediatric Parapneumonic Effusion/Pleural Empyema in Japan

Abstract: Background: Pediatric parapneumonic effusion/ pleural empyema (PPE/PE) is a severe infectious condition, and its management should be guided by local epidemiology and the patient's medical history.
