Pediatric Ankle Syndesmosis Injuries

Abstract: Ankle syndesmosis injuries occur in 1% of pediatric ankle trauma. In the younger populations, an open physis has been thought to be a protective factor against syndesmotic injury and therefore favors more Salter-Harris type injuries.
