Peculiarities of the distribution and identification of plants of the genus Salicornia as a unique source of table salt

Abstract: In this study peculiarities of distribution difficulties of Salicornia perennans Willd were studied, and ways to promote wide practical use as an alternative source of salt were outlined.  Being a halophyte, Salicornia perennans Willd grows on salty soils of the Caspian region of Astrakhan.
