Peculiarities of resonances of elastic and magnetoelastic waves in (111)‐oriented two‐layered structure

Abstract: PACS 62.90.+k, 72.55.+s, 75.70.Cn, 75.80.+q The dimensional resonant frequency of elastic and magnetoelastic waves in bilayered structure: magnetic film-non-magnetic elastic substrate have been explored. The diagrams of resonant frequencies dependences upon material parameters of a system such as wave resistances, layers thicknesses have been constructed. Violation of the equidistant arrangement of resonant frequency harmonics for a composite bilayered structure has been shown.

“…2 and 3. The parameters used in calculations correspond to those taken in our previous work [11,12]. Figure 2 illustrates the resonant susceptibility dependence on a magnetic layer thickness for the odd harmonics number n. The letter β on the plots denotes the regions corresponding to the interface position coinciding with λ/4 (d ∼ λ/4) where λ is a MEE wavelength, the letter α denotes the regions where d ∼ λ/2, the letter γ marks the regions where the dimensional resonance is not excited.…”

“…Peculiarities of the dimensional resonance frequencies attributed to a nonmagnetic layer were discussed earlier in [11,12]. It was shown that an equidistant arrangement of harmonics series of the standing-wave resonant frequencies occurring in uniform magnetic film is violated in a bilayered structure.…”

“…Note that MEW in uniform ferromagnetic plates restricted in one dimension have been investigated earlier [7,8]. Peculiarities of dimensional resonances of MEW have been considered in [9]. However, sufficient attention has not heretofore been paid to the influence of MEW propagating in a surface plane on the thickness modes of MEW guided by ferromagnetic film.…”
