Abstract:In the presence of catalytic amounts of Pd nanoparticles, generated from Pd 2 dba 3 /Ag(I), cis-1,2-ditrimethylsilylarylethylenes undergo with aryl iodides a stereospecific Mizoroki−Heck arylation leading to trans-ditrimethylsilyldiarylethylenes.
