In our previous work [20,21], we have also prepared a series of novel highly-dispersed Pt and Pd NPs entrapped in titanate nanotubes (TNTs) catalysts, and demonstrate that confining the metal NPs within TNT could be an effective way to improve their metal dispersion and catalytic activity as well as carbon nanotubes.
