Abstract:Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is a subtype of sarcoma derived from smooth muscle cells. Unfortunately, this malignancy has a high rate of metastatic disease. Palliative systemic therapy has historically relied on cytotoxic agents such as doxorubicin, which have low rates of response.
