Pb2440 Characteristics of Patients With Cancer Treated for Venous Thromboembolism in General Hospital Dr. Josip Benčević During Five Years

Abstract: Background: In the Republic of Croatia cancer is the second cause of mortality after cardiovascular disease. Patients with cancer have a 4 to 7-fold higher risk of developing venous thromboembolism (VTE) and those who developed VTE have poorer survival than those without VTE.
