Patient Safety in Interventional Radiological Procedures

Abstract: enabling 2-way communication between all members of the IR team. 4 CONCLUSIONSWe believe use of safety checklists offer much promise for use in IR suites elsewhere. As part of the mandate to ensure patient safety, IR teams should consider adopting a similar checklist that reflects their own practices, as well as their organization's rules and regulations. The checklist can be modified to suit their own practice.
