Pathophysiology and Pharmacologic Modulation of Hepatic Fibrosis

Abstract: Most chronic liver disorders are accompanied morphologically by the deposition of fibrous tissue within the hepatic parenchyma. This fibrotic tissue compromises hepatic function and contributes significantly to hepatic failure.
