Materials and methods. During laparotomy surgery, a bile duct wall biopsy was performed in 48 patients with cholangitis, conditionally divided into 4 groups depending on the period of removal of biliary hypertension: up to 5 days, 12-14 days, 28-30 days and 10-12 months.
