Pathology and pathogenesis of bovine skin and meibomian gland demodicosis

Abstract: Une enquête nationale menée au Soudan sur la démodécie bovine a concerné 48  000 animaux examinés soit au cours de campagnes de vaccination (44 800), soit lors d’inspections ante et post mortem dans des abattoirs (3 200). Sur l’ensemble des animaux enquêtés, 44  908 étaient des adultes (2-8 ans) dont 34,6 p. 100 étaient infectés, et 3 092 étaient des veaux (< 2 ans) dont 34,6 p. 100 étaient infectés.
