“…According to [56] oophoritis seems to be rare while perioophoritis is common pathological condition of bovine ovary. The prevalence of hydrobursitis in camel during this study was approximately similar to that of [19]. However; it was lower than the report by [18,5].…”

“…Only single published research reports by [11] was available. However, there are several reports of female dromedary camel reproductive organ pathological conditions from other camel keeping countries like Egypt [10]; Saudi Arabia [4,18,19]; Nigeria [20]; Algeria [5]; Iraq [21] and Pakistan [22]. According to the ndings of these above studies different reproductive pathological lesion include (lesions of uterus, ovary, oviduct and cervico-vaginal) were recorded among which lesions of the uterus was the most frequent in almost all studies.…”

The prevalence of hydrobursitis in camel during this study was approximately similar to that of Al-Afaleq et al [19]. However; it was lower than the report by Ali et al [18] and Mohammed et al [6].…”

“…About 57.1% of cases with reproductive disorders were due to metritis and endometritis (Ali et al, 2010). The most common uterine bacterial isolates in dromedaries are Campylobacter spp., Brucella spp., Coxiella burnetii, Salmonella spp., Chlamydia spp., Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas and Staphylococcus aureus (Al-Afaleq et al, 2012;Mshelia1 et al, 2014;Khalafalla et al, 2017;El-Deeb et al, 2019). Owing to the diversity of these pathogens, a single antibiotic program might not be sufficient due to the bacterial resistance and the broad range of bacterial species.…”
