Pathologic Evidence of Ehrlichiosis in Calves Inoculated with Ehrlichia chaffeensis

Abstract: An immunocompetent animal disease model based on infection with Ehrlichia chaffeensis would facilitate research toward understanding mechanisms responsible for the broad range of clinical signs associated with human monocytic ehrlichiosis (HME).
