CONCLUSIONS: We identified multiple immune checkpoints and soluble immune inhibitory factors independently associated with intratumoral CYT in untreated GBM. Further studies are warranted to determine whether each of these factors induces T-cell effector responses in GBM or, conversely, is upregulated as a means of tumor immune evasion. These results may inform rational combinations for immunotherapy in GBM.
