Considering the increasing concerns regarding climate change, a fundamental transformation in global energy policies is imperative, particularly within the aviation sector, which is historically anchored in the consumption of fossil fuels. This perspective presents a scholarly evaluation of the progression from deep-rooted fossil-fuel-dependent technologies to innovative strategies aimed at carbon neutrality, specifically focusing on the formulation of sustainable aviation fuel from CO 2 . An analytical review of the cuttingedge methodologies for CO 2 -to-jet fuel conversion is provided, and the practicality of current industrial models are assessed. This perspective explores the intricate consequences of adopting such groundbreaking technologies and evaluates their technical practicability, economic feasibility, and environmental advantages. The insights obtained from this study will substantially contribute to the discussion on energy sustainability, emphasizing the synergy between sophisticated CO 2 conversion processes and the overarching goal of realizing global carbon neutrality.

In this study, we identify and forecast promising railway static inverter technologies and the technology taxonomy using patent data analytics. To this end, we identify technology topics through LDA topic modeling and interpret them through N-gram analysis. We then derive detailed promising technology topics through time series analysis and technology mapping. Finally, we identify leading companies and research institutes in the field of promising technology topics through bibliography and social network analysis of patent applicants. Our study identified six technology topics, and fields related to converter technology were identified as detailed promising technologies. Japanese companies represented by Mitsubishi, Hitachi, and Toshiba are leading R&D in this field, while Chinese companies represented by CRRC have also secured technological competitiveness. Additionally, France's Alstom is technically competitive when considering only the centrality index. Our study will contribute to its use as a meaningful reference for the establishment of railway R&D and the development of promising railway static inverter technologies.

Technological Profile of Microreactor Based on Patent Analysis

Since the concept of microreactor was first proposed in the 1980s, it has been entering the chemistry and chemical engineering fields at a high speed and is favored by both scientific and commercial fields. The development of microreactors has been extensively studied in the literature, but less analysis has been carried out from the perspective of industrial technology. This paper aims to identify, analyze, and map the technological profile of microreactors from the perspective of patents. Based on the text mining techniques, a quantitative analysis of 16,327 microreactor‐related patents in the Derwent Innovations Index database was conducted. The analysis reveals a consistent annual increase in the number of microreactor‐related patents from 1982 to 2021. Specifically, China emerges as the leading country in terms of patent disclosures, whereas the United States and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) play a crucial role in knowledge transfer. Moreover, this study identifies the technological evolution path for microreactors and analyzes in detail the key patents along this evolution path. Individuation, modularization, and greening are the developing directions of microreactor technology in the future. This research offers valuable guidance for researchers and industry professionals in decision‐making and driving advancements in microreactor technology.
