Patellofemoral joint: Chondral and osteochondral lesions and osteochondritis dissecans

Abstract: Patellofemoral eklemin kıkırdak yaralanmaları çok sık görülmemesine rağmen, tedavideki zorlukları ve tibiofemoral eklemden farklılıkları nedeniyle önem arz etmektedir. Trokleanın iç bükey, patellanın dış bükey olması ve bu bölgede makaslama kuvvetlerinin yoğun olması, kıkırdak tedavi yöntemlerinin başarı oranını azaltmaktadır.
