Abstract: The loss of the auricle is a dramatic event in terms of aesthetics of the face. Secondary reconstruction of the ear is difficult and complicated. Therefore, a replantation of the amputated part should be tried. Proper securing and transport of the amputate is essential, in addition to the patient being sent to a specialized clinic.
