“…In INTERSTROKE multicenter study conducted in 22 countries, O'Donnell et al [19] reported a frequency of 9% in the industrialized countries, 22% in South East Asia, 26% in South America and 34% in Africa. Belo et al [20] in a study of the characteristics of stroke in Black Africans from Togo, found incidences of ICH between 28% and 60%. Our hospital frequency of ICH (32.95%) was consistent with that interval.…”
