Particle Number Size Distribution of Wintertime Alpine Aerosols and Their Activation as Cloud Condensation Nuclei in the Guanzhong Plain, Northwest China

Abstract: The particle number size distribution (PNSD) and hygroscopicity on alpine sites can directly reflect the interaction between aerosol and cloud in the free troposphere, and narrow the errors caused by extrapolation from the ground observation.
