Considered among the fastest-growing industries in the world, tourism brings immense benefits but also creates certain challenges. Conservation of natural resources is a stringent necessity, without which the extraordinary ecosystems’ attributes that create the premises for nature-based tourism would reduce, alter, and subsequently disappear. The aim of the present review is twofold: gaining a general understanding of what nature-based tourism is and providing a systematic literature review of articles on nature-based tourism in European national and natural parks, with emphasis on their applicability. The articles included in the present review were selected based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) statement. The review accounts for research conducted between 2000 and 2021 and is divided into two sections: articles aimed at understanding tourists’ behaviour and articles that are focused on other stakeholders or have the local communities in the foreground. While many studies are aimed at understanding tourists’ behaviour as a means of improving parks’ management, participatory strategies including local communities are often indicated as beneficial. The results of this paper can facilitate future research in the field and provide valuable knowledge to policymakers and any interested parties.

Existen factores que han provocado la disminución de la tasa de recolección del recurso, por lo tanto, es muy probable que esta disminución tenga relación con la tala indiscriminada del bosque de manglar y contaminación de granjas camaroneras, provocando incertidumbre económica y ambiental en las últimas décadas (C. M.Beitl et al, 2019;Félix & Hurtado, 2019).En el archipiélago de Jambelí, se encuentran las comunas Las Huacas, Costa Rica, Pongalillo, Buenavista y Casitas y alrededor de ellas se encuentra el bosque de manglares de donde se extrae el recurso conchero. En el presente trabajo, se desprende el objetivo indagar la influencia de la inteligencia empresarial sobre la toma de decisiones en la producción de molusco Bivalvo “Concha Prieta” (A. tuberculosa). Uno de los moluscos bivalvo de mayor extracción de los bosques de manglares es la concha prieta (Anadara tuberculosa). En Ecuador se encuentra distribuida en las provincias de Esmeraldas y El Oro. Este recurso ha sido culturalmente y económicamente importante en las comunidades del archipiélago de Jambelí, y en toda la costa del Pacífico de América Latina. Una herramienta que ha sido muy utilizada durante las últimas décadas es la inteligencia empresarial, la misma permite extraer, explotar, y simplificar información y descubrir nuevos patrones que se convertirán en futuros eventos de las empresas agropecuarias. En la investigación se aplicó un diseño no experimental y de enfoque mixto. Se aplicó un análisis estadístico inferencial el cual arrojó como resultado que existe una influencia correlación positiva considerable con un 74.3% entre la variable inteligencia de negocio y la variable toma de decisiones. Por este motivo es oportuno implementar un Software de inteligencia de negocio en el área de producción de la empresa como instrumento para el análisis de grandes volúmenes de datos.
