Partial Threading of Pedicle Screws in a Standard Construct Increases Fatigue Life: A Biomechanical Analysis

Abstract: This study proposed a pedicle screw design where the proximal 1/3 of the screw is unthreaded to improve fixation in posterior spinal surgery.
