Partial efficacy of early and temporary roguing to manage woodiness disease in pilot crops of passion fruit

Abstract: Cowpea aphid-borne mosaic virus (CABMV) causes passion fruit woodiness disease, which considerably reduces the lifespan and fruit production of passion fruit (Passiflora edulis; Passifloraceae) in Brazil (Fischer & Rezende, 2021). CABMV infection results in economic loss at the farmer and the national level as Brazil is the world's largest producer of passion fruit.
