Abstract:Clinical diagnosis of Parkinson's disease demonstrates classical presentation of symptoms that are often misdiagnosed as Parkinsonian syndromes predominately in the initial stages of the disease. Innovative clinical trials for the differential diagnosis between the two overlapping illnesses incorporate neuroimaging, pharmalogical medications, deep brain stimulation and cerebrospinal biomarkers.
