Introduction: Slime is one of the toys that many kids like because it was adorable with a variety of bright and colorful color variations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of slime play therapy on biological, psychological, and eating behavior in preschool children who undergo hospitalization in the Dahlia Room of RSUD Mgr. Gabriel Manek, SVD Atambua.Methods: This research used quasi experiment with post-test only non-equivalent control group design. The total population was 90 patients with a sample size of 60 respondents, divided into 30 treatment groups and 30 control groups. The sample was determined by consecutive sampling technique. The independent variable was slime play therapy. The dependent variable was biological, psychological, and eating behavior. Data were obtained by observation sheet and Child Eating Behavior Questionnaire (CEBQ) instrument and data were analyzed by the Mann-Whitney U Test.Results: There were differences between the treatment group and the control group on respiratory frequency (p=0.021), pulse frequency (p=0.002), stress (p=0.035), and eating behavior (p=0.041).Conclusion: Slime play therapy was an atraumatic care approach that can be used to reduce stress level hospitalization, biological responses to normal, and eating behavior to be good for children who were hospitalized.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis pelaksanaan peran orangtua dalam mengenalkan virus corona pada anak prasekolah. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah lima keluarga yang memiliki anak usia prasekolah. Penentuan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu dengan kriteria keluarga yang memiliki anak usia pra sekolah yaitu usia 3-6 tahun dan berlokasi di RT 006 RW 07, Perum 2, Tangerang, Banten. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles and Huberman dengan tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan ferivikasi data. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalahorangtua telah melaksanakan perannya dalam mengenalkan Covid-19 menggunakan media TV, HP dan youtube; menjadi contoh dalam tindakan pencegahan;serta mengajarkan berbagai tindakan pencegahan dengan pendampingan, penjelasan, serta bujukan dan rayuan terutama bagi anak yang sulit untuk melaksanakan tindakan perlindungan diri dari Covid-19. Namun, pengenalan Covid-19 lebih banyak dilakukan ibu dibandingkan ayah. Sehingga diperlukan kerjasama dan peran ayah untuk mendukung dan melengkapi usaha yang dilakukan ibu dalam mengenalkan Covid-19 kepada anak.

Children's personality development is crucial for their future and parents have a great role in assuring it develops well. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of parenting on communication and children's social independence in the Kindergarten Cluster Cempaka, Central Banjarmasin District. The study uses a quantitative approach with explanatory methods, including cause and effect. It had a population of 360, and a total of 189 people were selected using a proportional sample technique. The research instruments were questionnaires. To analyze the collected data the researcher used regression and path analysis. The results show that: first, parental role influences communication in the Cempaka Cluster Kindergarten with 0.620. Second, parenting influences parental communication by 0.391. Third, the role of parents influences children's social independence by 0.568. Fourth, parenting parents influence the social independence of children by 0.696. Fifth, parental communication impacts children's social independence by 0.625. Sixth, parents' role through communication has a significant impact on the independence of children, specifically 0.06566. Lastly, there is an influence of parenting through communication on children's social independence of 0.1144. Thus, parents need to understand how to educate children to make them Social Independence and promote self-understanding in daily life.
