Parasympathetic excitation of sympathetic innervation after cholinesterase inhibition

Abstract: 1 Orbital parasympathetic innervation normally provides prejunctional muscarinic inhibition of sympathetic neurotransmission without activation of excitatory muscarinic receptors located on the innervated smooth muscle.
