Abstract:Parasitic diseases of the spinal cord and nerve roots are a potentially deadly matter. They are mainly found in areas where there are poor sanitary conditions such as Africa, the Middle East, and the West Indies. The most common diseases include schistosomiasis and neurocysticercosis.
