Parametric optimization of heat exchanger tube having twisted tape turbulent promoters and silicon oxide nanofluid

Abstract: Summary The optimization of heat exchanger tube parametric having SiO2/H2O based nanofluid flow through the twisted tape insert. The optimization basis is to maximize the heat transfer function and minimize the pressure drop function. The parameters selected for optimization are: twisted tape width to diameter ratio WT/DT, twisted length to width ratio (LT/WT), and the nano particle concentration ϕ.
