Parametric Influence and Optimization of Wire Edm of Hot Die Steel

Abstract: Wire cut EDM is one of the non-traditional machining processes. Machining parameters affecting quality characteristics in the machining process is thoroughly studied. In this present study AISI 52100 is used as a work piece. The input parameters selected for optimization pulse on time, pulse off time, voltage and wire feed.
