Paper No P24: New Concept for the Design, Synthesis, and Application of Nanostructured Anisotropic Materials and Conductive and Alignment Coatings for High‐Efficient Displays and Photonic Devices

Abstract: In this paper, we describe the new concept of design, synthesis, and application of nanostructured anisotropic materials and conductive and alignment coatings for high efficient displays and photonic devices. It is based on the original combination of anisotropic and nanostructured materials, conductive and alignment coatings, and includes the design and synthesis of new anisotropic materials and the preparation of novel conductive and alignment coatings.

“…There are high-purity aluminum layers subjected by anodic oxidation process and forming porous structure of aluminum oxide Al 2 O 3 . Besides of the LC alignment they can be used as transparent electrodes [2,6,7], antireflective coatings [8], light emitting devices [9]. The type of the LC orientation depends on the pores' size and LC anchoring [7,10].…”
