Abstract: Hydroxycinnamic acids (HCC) are one of the types of biologically active compounds (BAC) synthesized by plants. Along with carbohydrates and proteins, HCCs are the most common compounds in the plant world and are found in almost all higher plants in free form, as part of esters and glycosides.
