Panoramic radiography and computed tomography of metastatic breast carcinoma in the mandible: Report of a case

Abstract: BackgroundBreast carcinoma is a common tumor in women, but it rarely metastasizes to the oral region.Case presentationAn 83‐year‐old woman presented with numbness and pain on the right side of the mandible. The patient's medical history included breast cancer that was treated with surgery. Panoramic radiograph showed a radiolucency with ill‐defined margin in the right mandible.
