Panorama da saúde no ambiente dos estádios de futebol em Sergipe: uma visão psicossocial das torcidas

Abstract

In 1983, appears in England the Football, sport with simple and universal rules. In Brazil, soccer is considered the national sport of preference as well as a social phenomenon. Soccer stadiums, while leisure environment should provide a favorable environment for soccer fans. However, in Sergipe, in addition to poor environmental conditions encountered, the health of the fans is exposed to risk an even more alarming: the confrontation between hooligans in stadiums and their surroundings. The objective of this study was to examine psychosocial factors along with environmental conditions in an attempt to explain the alarming violence found in stadiums in Sergipe. This is a quantitative and qualitative study in one day of classic (match between Sergipe x Confiança), composed of a sample of 268 questionnaires, and followed by the capture of images to analyze the behavior of fans at the Stadium. According to the data collected and analyzed, it can be concluded that violence between fans of Confiança and Sergipe, was attended by 78.7% of participants. Additionally, 59.2% said they felt unsafe to go to the stadium wearing the team shirt. The study concludes that urgent action must be taken, through the identification and punishment of violent fans, furthermore, measures the short and long term, as psychoeducational studies and new campaigns.
