Abstract:Pancreatic panniculitis is a cutaneous manifestation that can occur as a complication of acute pancreatitis. We present the case of a patient who had an acute pancreatitis initially classified as mild, but, during the course of the disease, was associated with the presence of an exacerbation of pain together with erythematous, painful and well-defined dorsal lesions.
