Panel Building Refurbishment Elements Effective Selection by Applying Multiple-Criteria Methods

Abstract: Sustainable development has taken on a new concept: building maintenance, materials production, buildings demolition to determine the amount of energy and resources. This paper presents the process of effective selection of building elements for renovation which are important for energy effectiveness of buildings. Multi-criteria MOORA and MULTIMOORA methods has been adapt for problems solving with interval data. The paper presents a theoretical model of practice design renovation solutions evaluated. The theor… Show more

“…This method was developed (Brauers, Zavadskas 2010) and became MULTIMOORA (MOORA plus the full multiplicative form). These methods have been applied in different studies (Brauers et al 2007Brauers, Zavadskas 2009;Brauers, Ginevičius 2010;Baležentis et al 2010Baležentis et al , 2013Kracka, Zavadskas 2013;Brauers, Kracka, Zavadskas 2012;Brauers, Kildiene 2013;Kildiene 2013;Zeng et al 2013). …”

“…As the necessary data are obtained as plain numbers, the MOORA technique (Kildiene, 2013;Kracka & Zavadskas, 2013;Zeng, Balezentis, & Su, 2013) was applied in order to give corresponding weights to the obtained values. The MOORA technique is depicted in Figure 3.…”
