Pancreatic resection for metastatic tumors to the pancreas

Abstract: The incidence of R1 resection is high in pancreatic cancer despite of a good quality surgery. Amongst various techniques of mesopancreas excision, SMD is applicable to pancreatic and other periampullary carcinoma.
